The blues, rock, funk & more band


In addition to our regular band practice we started to invite different musicians to join us in our studio on Sundays for jam sessions. Part of our ritual was to take a few coffee breaks, and thus the project's name HOT COFFEE was born.

The purpose of this Project:
- to gain experiance with improvisation and the incorporation of spontanious solos.
- Guests that have practiced with us have the oppurtunity to join us at open sessions.
- To make contact with new musicians and to keep up contact with local muscians.
- In the event that a Blue Sun Band member can not play, we have a reserve pool of musicians.
- To enrich our sound with saxaphone, keyboards, blues harp, or vocals.
- A platform is created to experiment with new numbers or to create original work.

HOT COFFEE appears regularly in various Blues Sessions, and events in and around Köln.
