What
a weekend! Two days, three concerts. We arrived at the Landmann
Street Stage Area early, and ate lunch at Moselstübchens.
We then set up the stage and checked in with the mixer and had
a quick sound check.
The weather was supposed to be mixed, but we had luck and it
did not rain at all. The sun even popped out a few times.
Between our two
sets there was a fashion show organized by the second hand store
"Besser als Schokolade"(Better
then Choclate) and the fashion boutique "Due
Lune". The models were comprised of customers
from the neighborhood - see image below of the band and the
models.
After our second
set we broke down, packed up and headed for Porz for our next
gig. We had time for a few cups of coffee, before we set back
up. As the room was not so large we decided to play with only
one speaker box.
The crowd was
great. They needed no warm up period and were in "party
modus" after the first song. We played till after two though
we were only obligated to play till midnight.
The next day we
met up a half hour later then the first. We all looked pretty
tired, but after a few cups of coffee and a good lunch we were
charged back up for round two of the street festival.
