Double Concert: Blue Sun & Black Sheriff

Captain's Log Stardate: -311425.11415525107
We got a call around 9 p.m. on July 28th from Alois who asked us if we could fill in the next day for a band that had cancelled out at the last minute. I could not confirm until I had checked with all the band members. After trying to drum up the band, it was our drummer who could not be reached. So we contacted our ex-drummer Udo and asked if he could fill in. He did, we did, and the rest is Hard Rock Cafe History.
I arrived first and helped the co-band BLACK SHERIFF unload their eqipment and showed them the way through the back corridors to the stage area. It was a great show, but many left when Black Sheep took to the stage as they were loud... come on guys it is called "HARD ROCK" cafe. But no fear their places were soon taken by others.

T
anja from Black Owl contacted me to ask if we might be interested in playing together at a benefit concert for the Children's Hospital in Cologne-Nippes to take place at the Hard Rock Cafe Cologne.

Several phone calls later it was decided who would bring what and the rest is history.

Black Owl opened and gave a great show. We followed, and were happy to see so many familiar faces in the crowd. The atmosphere was great and people were all dancing to our music. Many the guitarist from The Rolling Things made a video which he posted at YouTube.
THANKS Many!!
