Fabian's Log: I took the street car (line 13), to Dürener Str. As I had 24 Minutes before my connection with the #7 was due, I decided to pop by Erpel & Co., to wish them a happy new year. No one was there that I knew so I headed back to the stop to wait for my connection.
I was the first to show up at Einsteins followed by Werner & Heinz. Udo got lost again and was late for the 3rd time in a row. At least the drums from Einsteins were already set up. Petra served us up with Spetzle with beef & cream sauce before the show, which caused us to start abou 15 minutes later then planned.
We played two hours straight before taking a break. I then distributed calling cards (Udo's old ones), and collected eMail addresses. We were back on stage in less tehn 20 minutes and played on until midnight. The audience was very repsponsive. House Band
Fabian: I arrived with the Bahn a little earlier then expected. I helped Petra clear the chairs and tables from the stage area and then set up the speakers and mixing board. I then had some coffee while playing piano and warming up my voice. Once everything was set up I noticed there were some people right next to the stage speaking english. I chated with them a bit: It was a very mixed group: one was from Wales, one from Ireland and the rest from England. Our set went well. Afterwards there was an open session set followed by a set from FREE STEP. Then another couple of open session sets. We got a CD from Jürgen Lieb with the photos from the session 17.07.2006.
