As we had played another concert the night before at the MC Adler in Köln, I had decided in advance to spend the night at Heinz & Gabi's. We had breakfast togeather, before packing up and heading for Aachen.

The weather was cloudy, but dry when we arrived. We had to exchange some wood pallets that were being used as a stage, as they were rotten through and unsafe.

After that set up went fast. As Robert's drums do not have as many parts and accessories the set up only takes half the time it took with Udo's drum set.

Udo picked me up, and after a little trouble programmimg his GPS we were off to Aachen. Heinz & Werner were already there when we arrived.

After setting up our eqipment and having a quick sound check we just barely had enough time to get somthing to eat at the Dönerladen across the street.
  

The audience was very mixed, and many made song requests, many more them usual, and we complied where we could. Can you play: ...somthing by Elvis?...Smoke on the Water,? Honky Tonk Women?...etc. etc.

  
    When we got to "Smoke on the Water" a large group of people got up and all lined up in front of the stage to rock along with us.

It is always interesting for me to see which songs get the audience rocking, and strangly it's never the same songs. I guess it's our wide spectrum that we play that appeals to a wide audience spectrum.
