Fabian: As we had informed Wolfgang ahead of time that we would be coming, we were dissapointed to find that we were Band #8, which we knew meant that we would not get on stage before midnight. I was coughing all night and was not even sure if I was going to be able to sing. Fortunatly Sabine gave me some throut lozengers which really helped. The set went really well and people even danced to the Time Warp. We also played Thriller in honor of Michael Jackson.

We had a little trouble finding the place, but once we did, we got the place rollin'. As session opener we played two 20 minute sets.

As Billie, our sax player, couldn't make it to this gig, we were happy to see that Christina Christ was there together with Heinz-Bernd Hövelmann. We asked her if she would like to join us in our 2nd set, which she did.

Our set went really well . Besides a great set from Heijo (bass), Christine (sax), and Heinz-Bernd (guitar & vocals) a solo appearance of Raphael Monsanto on acoustic guitar was well worth mentioning.
   

Wolfgang Härtel: "Wow - war das eine Band: die "Blue Sun Band" aus Köln. Erstklassiger Blues und Blues Rock und mit einer der besten Opener die Bergeim/Erft je auf einer Jam Session erleben durfte.
Die Jungs haben von Anfang an für gute Stimmung gesorgt und alle begeistert. Diese Band muß man erlebt haben! Danke, dass ihr uns so viel Freude und so viel gute Musik gegebenhabt. Danke nochmal, dass ihr gekommen seit. Diese Band muß man weiter empfehlen!"
